Alpha Kappa Psi: Spring Rush 2021

In the two weeks leading up to Alpha Kappa Psi’s Spring 2021 recruitment, our chapter’s marketing efforts were in full force, especially since this would be an entirely virtual event. Amidst a pandemic and a virtual school year, we wanted our recruitment theme of “Ready, Set, Grow” to encourage students to step out of their comfort zone and take advantage of an opportunity that provided personal and professional growth, as well as a community. As Social Media Manager, I carried out a social media marketing campaign, which included creating engaging content and outreach on Instagram and Facebook. Notable content were the Instagram takeovers hosted by three members throughout the two weeks, a Brotherhood Bustle which spotlighted a member’s small business, and the rush video, which was created by the content creator.

Throughout this campaign, our Instagram account reached 5,690 accounts, engaged 804 accounts, and had 8,337 impressions and 353 profile visits.
